The right to become acquainted with the entry of the marriage register and to request a marriage certificate shall be the person for whom the entry was made or the person authorised by it.

The right to become acquainted with the entry of the birth register (except the entry of the register relating to adoption) and to request a birth certificate shall be the person for whom the entry was made or the person authorised by it. The right to become acquainted with the entry of the birth register of a minor person and to request a birth certificate shall be the parents or the legal representative of the child.

The right to become acquainted with the entry of the birth register of an adult adopted person and to request a birth certificate shall be the person for whom the entry has been made. The right to become acquainted with the entry of the birth register of a minor adopted person and to request a birth certificate shall be the adopter or the legal representative of the child.

The right to become acquainted with the entry of the death register and to request a death certificate shall be the relative of the deceased.

    Receipt of services documents required:
    1. application;
    2. a personal identification document;
    3. for an authorised person, the term of office;
    4. a document certifying payment of the State fee;
    5. The identity document must be produced on receipt of the certificate.

    The State fee shall be released (presenting a document certifying the relevant status):
    1. a person with an I or II disability group;
    2. a person who is under the full national or local authority;
    3. a person who has been recognised as poor in accordance with the procedures specified in regulatory enactments;
    4. children orphaned or without parental care after reaching the age of age to the age of 24;
    5. a multi-child family, if one declared place of residence or additional address has been determined for at least three children under its care, including those placed in a foster family and under guardianship.

    In accordance with the decision of the Valka municipality council of 27.11.2014, Protocol No 16, § 2, fee service for preparing the duplicate certificate EUR 3.00.
