The rectification of documents for the registration of civil status records shall be the rectification of incorrect information or error in the register of civil status records and on the basis of an entry in the birth, marriage or death certificate issued to the person. The addition of documents for the registration of civil status records shall be the recording of missing information in the register of civil status states and on the basis of an entry in the certificate issued to the person. The renewal of the registration documents of civil status records shall take place if the register of the civil status statement has died. The annulment of the registration documents of civil status records shall be made if two registers have been drawn up regarding the same fact.

Process description

  1. Service requests
    Service request channels - face-to-face, in any family list department.

    Receipt of services documents required:
    1. application;
    2. a personal identification document;
    3. documents supporting the change of the register or copies thereof notarially certified;
    4. documents to be modified;
    5. a document certifying payment of the State fee;
    6. A personal identification document must be produced upon receipt of the document.

  2. Receipt of services
    Service receiving channels - presence, in the family list authority specified in the application.

    Charges related to receiving the service:
    1. State fee for the addition, correction, renewal or cancellation of records of civil status - EUR 7 (Regulation No 906 of the BOM 24.09.2013 on the State fee for registration of civil status records). The State fee shall be released (presenting a document certifying the relevant status):
    2. a person with an I or II disability group;
    3. a person who is under the full national or local authority;
    4. a person who has been recognised as poor in accordance with the procedures specified in regulatory enactments;
    5. the attainment of the age of 24 of children orphaned or left without parental care;
    6. a multi-child family, if one declared place of residence or additional address has been determined for at least three children under its care, including those placed in a foster family and under guardianship.

    The State fee must be paid before the register is updated or renewed.
