Inspect and cancel information regarding the declared place of residence of the person on the basis of the application of the person itself, on the basis of the submission of another person or on the initiative of the institution.
The service is required in the following cases:
• a person has declared a place of residence in a residential area for which the person has no legal basis to use;
• the person has provided false information when declaring the place of residence.
The local government shall examine the information provided on the basis of the documents at its disposal: On the basis of the data of the information systems (in the Population Register and the State Address Register), by inviting a person to submit a document certifying the veracity of the declared information (for example, a rental contract or an agreement with the existence of the owner of real estate or the existence of a legal basis to reside in the declared place of residence) and/or by posting news from a real-estate owner.

If, in examining the information regarding the declared place of residence, the local government determines that at the time of submission of the declaration of residence the person did not have the legal basis indicated in the application to reside in the declared place of residence, the information regarding the declared place of residence shall be cancelled with the date of submission of the declaration.

If the local government determines that the person has lost the right to reside in the declared place of residence, the information regarding the declared place of residence shall be cancelled with the date of taking the decision.

After the cancellation of the information regarding the declared place of residence of a person, the local government shall update the referred to information in the Population Register and notify the person thereof.

Process description

  1. Service requests
    Service request channels:
    1. e-mail, the person shall submit the necessary documents, which have been prepared in conformity with the requirements of regulatory enactments regarding the drawing up of electronic documents electronically, by e-mail, certifying it with a secure electronic signature, time stamp;
    2. presence, the person shall submit the necessary documents;
    3. correspondence, written submission together with the necessary documents shall be sent by post;

    Receipt of services documents required:
    1. a submission by a person, presenting a personal identification document and the following documents or copies thereof:
    2. a document certifying ownership or rental rights attesting the right of a person to manage a non-residential property. If the submitter is a legal person - a document certifying the right of representation shall be submitted (if the property of the person is entered in the Land Register, the local government employee shall perform a rights check; if the personal property has not been entered in the Land Register, a copy of the document (presenting the original) shall be presented, which certifies the right of the person to manage the immovable property (a statement regarding the right of the residential house). for privatisation, purchase (purchase) contract registered in the State Land Service or other evidence of ownership or management rights).
    Document 3 showing that the legal basis for the declaration of residence has been lost (an agreement on the termination of the rental rights, a contract for which the prescribed term has expired, a contract for purchase, a judgment of the court on the loss of the right to use the residential space and/or eviction from residential premises, etc., has entered into force.).
